Elena Court, Kapparis

Hi everyone

We have booked to go to Elena court apartments in October - has anyone else been there ? It looks good on the website, and just what we want. We are in a penthouse apartment with a hot tub - heaven !!! From what we have been able to find out - on this forum in particular - thanks! - Kapparis looks like just what we want. Is it really 10 mins to Fireman's Beach from Elena Court.

Hi, I've been looking at Elena Court, Kapparis on the Holidayletting.co.uk web site for April 2011. Thought I would check it out on Trip Adviser and saw your posting. Never booked an apartment on line with private owners and wondered who you had booked this through. It looks very nice especially with the hot tub!

Hi JK

We have been booking with private owners in Cyprus for the past few years and have never had any problems. It's probably better to book with a UK owner (language for one thing!) and easier to contact. There are instructions on all the sites to guide you through booking. In general, once you have paid your deposit, you then pay the balance 8 weeks before you travel, when you will receive directions and how to gain access.

We very much liked the look of Elena Court, and have found the owners, Martin & Helen, to be very helpful and very quick with any email answers, and they treat you like a guest, and not just a source of income ! They have done some refurbishments this year and it looks great.

If you want to contact Martin, go to the H/Lettings website and find Elena Court. Scroll down and the tel.no is at the bottom, or you can send an email enqiry.

Off in 3 weeks and can't wait. Will post when we get back but won't be until mid-Nov if you want to wait and see what we say. But we're sure you won't have any problems with these owners.

Hi, I am sure that you will be fine with holiday lettings ,I have never had a problem with them or owners direct, which I also use. I have always had a very good standard of accommodation, using these sites. Julie

Hi JK33

Back from Kapparis - had absolutely fab weather, even first week in Nov when we usually get some rain.

Review of Elena Court as promised - the apt itself was great, if a little small, but that did not really matter as the terrace was just huge! And the hot tub was heaven ! The only draw back for us was the road noise all day until late at night, and then early in the morning as the Cypriots are early risers! We live in a very quiet area, so we really noticed the noise, but someone who lives on a main road may not find this a problem at all. Beaches were lovely, firemans bay was nearest and very nice, but our favourite was Konnos Bay, but you need a car to get there. Restaurants in Kapparis were good - had a really good night in Faliros when they had live music and dancing. But we did find it more expensive to eat out there than say Latchi, which is just north of Paphos.

Hope this will be of help.
