If you are feeling adventurous try the 4 x 4 off road safari into the Troodos mountains - well worth doing. Lovely boat trip from Pernera Harbour on the little yellow boat - book in advance because it is very popular. Have a ride out to the Famagusta viewpoint at Derynia, Cape Greko, Konnos Bay, Nicosia worth seeing and you can now walk over the border at Ledra Street into the north. Car hire in the south won't cover you for insurance into the north, you can buy insurance at the border but check with your car hire company whether they will allow you to take the car over the border. I'm hoping to take an organised trip this October to Famagusta. Don't bother with the market at Larnaca - full of tourist tat and fakes. A ride over to the western side of Cyprus to Paphos, Polis & Latchi and into the little villages. Very long day but you do get a good look at Cyprus. Enjoy.

Hi,

Another vote for the Troodos Mountains & exploring little villages in general.

Regards
