Restaurants in both kapparis and pernera

Hello,

We're visiting this area next May, 5 nights in kapparis and 6 nights in pernera, which restaurants do you recommend in each area?

Also I've heard you can walk from pernera to fig tree bay/ protarus along a coastal path, can you walk on this in the evening and is there restaurants inbetween?

Thanks.

Yes you can walk the whole of the coast day and night as it’s well lit. Lots of stop offs on route. Lovely walk. I’ve not stayed in Kapparis but there are plenty of restaurants in Pernera. Have a look at restaurant reviews under Paralimni and Protaras. My personal favourites are La Cultura Del Gusto (Mediterranean) Pinia (traditionally Cypriot). There are a couple of new restaurants, Doma and Novello which are getting good reviews in their first year. If you have a car it’s well worth venturing into the villages for traditional fare at prices much cheaper than the tourist resorts. Kapparis is predominantly an ex pat area but there are plenty of restaurants on the Main Street, Kennedy Avenue.

In Pernera there a lot of good ones: La Cultura, Sizzlers, Mojitos, Knights Pub.

Then Protaras so many The Corner, Steens are excellent.

Protaras is full of good restaurants. American Red Indian diner, The Corner, Promises, Dasonia plus many more. Most of them offer 2/3 course meal deals which are amazing value for money. In Pernera we usually go to Knight's Bar, good food at reasonable prices. And Pinia is mentioned above, this is in quite a remote area, a small family run place. Think we had a two (or three, can't remember) course meal deal and a bottle of wine and it was only around €33...ish for the two of us, excellent. Traditional Cypriot and friendly.

As for the coastal path, you can walk to and from Pernera/Protaras in around 25 minutes at a slow pace. If you hire a car it's less than 10 minutes between the two. Can't help re: Kapparis, sorry.
