Luggage storage in Castelvetrano

Hi there,

does anybody know if there is a luggage store available at the Castelvetrano train station?

We'll be coming from Trapani to visit Selinunte and will be staying for a day sight-seeing, then taking a train back to Marsala and stay for a night there.

Thank you so much!

There is no left luggage storage at the train station in Castelvetrano or at Selinunte.

Ah, that's too bad- Thank you for your quick answer!

Since we are on the topic- how many hours do you think we should reserve for Selinunte sight-seeing? Also, are the buses from Trapani (or Marsala) to Trapani airport reliable/on time? I've read that trains are less on time and reliable than buses in Sicily and we will not have a car so will be using public transport only...

Grazie!!!

Prego JankaEuterpe,

Left luggage storage throughout Sicily isn't plentiful.

The Michelin Green Guide recommends half a day for Selinunte, but the site is vast, and you might appreciate additional time if you have time to spare.

Buses are typically reliable, but always allocate extra time prior to a flight. The Salemi and AST buses for Birgi have been quite reliable.

Prego Vagabunde!

Do you know of some good wineries in Marsala (we will be there one night) that are in the downtown (centre) so we don't need a car to get there?

Cantine are easily reached in Marsala.

Consider Florio, Donnafugata, and Carlo Pellegrino.

Some require prior booking, so check websites in advance of your visit.
