Arrive Castelvetrano in two weeks - things to do

Apart from the great ruins in the area, looking for suggestions on day adventures with the rental car. Things on our list would be markets, beached, restaurants. Is it worth it to visit Marsala, Tripani or San Vito lo Capo?

Welcome to Sicily Alan S!

Selinunte is a phenomenal archeological site, and Cave di Cusa is Selinunte's quarry.

But you could also visit Segesta from Castelvetrano, the amazing Zinaro reserve, Agrigento's Valley of the Temples, Eraclea Minoa (ruins and beach), Scala dei Turchi (gorgeous beach), Marsala, the Egadi beaches on Favignana (from Marsala), Sciacca's beaches, wineries....

Note the 2014 Bandiera Blu beaches in the area - tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g187886-i343-k7451…
