With all the very good Macanese and Portuguese restaurants..... why go for a buffet? ;-)

Actually, if you look at the TA restaurant reviews for Macau there are a few buffets that rate well with travellers. Here is the link if helpful.

Rossio at MGM or Grand Orbit at Sands Cotai. Those are the two best buffets I've had.

Buffet dining is the best bang for your buck. Fully recommend it.

U're right BradJill! i 've wrote a review on O SANTOS - Comida Portuguesa Restaurant too! Frankly i'm not a buffet lover but have heard a lot on how good food & value from Macau buffet so wanna try in my coming trip.

Thanks Jim K. Have a not so good experience at Grand Orbit. May try the Rossio this time. ;)

Buffet in Macau is not so popular and not so great. If you go to Hong Kong have better buffet here. I suggest to you A Lorcha and more famous Macau restaurants not buffeet. A Lorcha Is famous and very good. Even Hong Kongers like Macau for eating at A Lorcha.

Again, different people enjoy different experiences, but I personally agree with those who don't "do" buffets in Macau... having spent the last few days pigging out in the city (and a few more days to go!), I still find that I get enough variety & quantity of fresher, better quality food for a lot less money by dining a la carte in local restaurants :-)

Hope you are not hogging up all the suckling pig at Ou Mun Cafe. That is one of our favorite places to pig out on 'little piggy' meal. ;-)

No, LOL, tonight's suckling pig was at the Grand Emperor!

But I couldn't really appreciate it as I was already "eat not go down" as the locals say from friend's birthday afternoon tea! Cuppa Coffee (Taipa village) can cater a very nice spread :-)

ummmm.....Fine choice for last nights dinner. But must admit that I'd prefer a stop at Terra Coffee House! ;-)
