Food in Macau

I am leaving for Macau on 6th April with my 7 other family members. I would like to bring them for good food in Macau. Any place to recommend? Is the Macau wharf still a good place to visit? I read in this forum that it is dead?

Appreciate your kind replies. :)

Zhuhai2007: Are you saying that the casual visitor would be turned away from the casino restaurants as well others like the IFT, Lord Stow's, etc. if not attired in tie and/or coat? I don't intend to seek entry dressed in shorts but if upscale raiment is required, then they just won't get my business.

No, Zhuhai isn't saying you'd be turned away for dressing casually, just that the restaurants in the casino resorts charge over-the-odds prices for what is generally a bland, international style of food.

Even the Macdonalds in the Venetian charges considerably more than any other Maccas in Macau or Hong Kong!

Zhuhai/Oisaan: I totally misunderstood what was being said. Thanks for the clarification. I'll be ready to be "shocked" at exorbitant prices when visiting Macau. Thanks again.
