Prices and spending money Skala Kefalonia

Hi my partner and I are going on holiday to Skala 17th July for 2 weeks this year and would like to know what are the average costs of day trips, drinks, food in Skala. We are planning on taking £2000 (English pounds) as spending money, is this enough? We are stayin B&B at san georio hotel. We don't want to be budgeting on holiday as we have not been away for 4 years..eeek! We are both mid 20s and like a nice relaxing time with many day trips and like nice restaurants but don't drink too much just the odd cheeky holiday cocktail.

That will be plenty. Most places have happy hours and generally beer is 3 euros for a large one and cocktails about 6 or 7. Meal for two with wine will average at about 25 euros with wine. Cost of trips depend which one but as an example the island tour is 33 euros each with panel in the high street.

Plenty, plenty. We stay at San Giorgio on B&B and hire a car for 4 days during our 2 week stay. The past few years we have budgeted for £1400 and this is pretty spot on each year (and we like our wine and beer too!)

We have just returned from Kefalonia after spending 2 weeks there on self catering. We spent around £1200. And that was eating out every night in a restaurant AND having a bottle of wine too. Plus it included £60 worth of petrol for our car hire which we had for 1 week and a few lunches were thrown in as well.

we always go for two weeks and we never spend over

£1000, we are not big drinkers but we eat out every evening and sometimes lunch as well, i think the cocktails are expensive so look out for happy hours enjoy your stay we love it.

Thank you so much for the replies :). Is there any rough prices of things?

I eat well and by well I mean healthy like good meats/ fish I am not a lover of pizza and pasta dishes (which unfortunately makes my meals bloomin expensive). My partner eats anything (luckily) but eats several meals a day (fast metabolism). I do hope £2000 English pounds is enough, the tours look rather expensive and we do love our tours hehehe :D

Here is one of the menu's from one of our favourite tavernas.

Prices of food and drink clearly shown.

We like to eat Greek, so maybe not to everyone's taste.

Furryone2 thank you so much, it is nowhere near as expensive as I had anticipated and easily manageable!!! I love Greek food too and I am mostly looking forward to copious amounts of Greek Coffee (my favourite) :D. Did not see hallumi on the menu though, I hope I find some

You can find Halloumi on the Island and buy it in Shops.

It does not tend to be on the Menu as it is a Cypriot cheese.

If you hire transport the Menu shown is from a little rustic Taverna on a sandy beach 7kms from Lixouri.

Amazing, rustic, shabby Greek chic :-)

Generally a meal for 2 including starter, main, bottle/litre wine will be between 30-36 euros in most restaurants
