Value for money in Corfu

Hi fellow travellers - thinking about going to Corfu for a week in Sept have never been. Just wondering what the prices are like? How much for a meal? How much can you expect to pay for a beer & a glass of wine?

Thanks in advance!

You will pay a lot less than in Ireland. We typically pay for a starter, main, shared dessert, litre of wine, cover charge and tip less than 20e per person. A glass of wine / beer can be around 3 euro.

Definetly book - you'll love Corfu!

The same will apply if you eat Greek style and do away with the main course. Order a selection of starters (mezes) between you and share them. Main courses as we know them are not really suitable for hot weather, such as we currently having. This is a way of eating to suit the climate and it's very sociable too. The prices will be about the same, but the experience is more satisfying.

it's as cheap or expensive as you want. Local beer average E2.50 large bottle or draught. Wine better to get half ltr. Local gyros pita E2 not like the english rubbish. Mousaka varies about E6-8. Greek salad E4-5. It really is very cheap for the normal holiday maker. Have you already booked? There are some good deals at the moment. Enjoy and do go into Corfu town it is lovely. Be careful and look at prices before you order as the liners come into there and some places are a rip off.

Here in Paleo at the minute and have not paid any more than 2 euro for a glass of wine.

Very reasonable to holiday here at the min, especially with the good euro rate.
