How much is sunbed and umbrelas on the beach? Do you have any information?
Thank you in advance,
When as it varies month to month, but typically expect an average of 20 €.
Until July 31st, when our summer vacation in San Vito (unfortunately) ended, it was 15€ for a set of 2 sunbeds and umbrella on 3 different places.Edited: 15 August 2018, 03:32
Yes, that one we've skipped. The most expensive one, together with Cefalu's beach also 25€. A bit too much, especially when you can find many for 15 at least in San Vito. That beach is magical anywhere. In Cefalu it's impossible :)
The rate very much depends on the month, and the specific establishment, services and facilities.
For example in Cefalù, the Lido Golden Beach:
10 Euro a Giugno (tranne la Domenica a Euro 15)
15 Euro a Luglio (tranne la Domenica a Euro 20)
20 Euro ad Agosto (tranne la Domenica a Euro 25)
10 Euro a Settembre (tranne la Domenica a Euro 15)
Il pacchetto comprende:
Numero 1 (Uno) Ombrellone
Numero 2 (Due) Lettini
What's impossible in Cefalù?
On Friday, July 20th when we visited Cefalu by train from Palermo, Lido Golden Beach was 25€ for a set of 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella, and Lido Poseidon was 20€ for the same set. Lido Golden Beach was packed anyway and Poseidon was more pleasant, even though the bar Poseidon didn't work like it used to do some years before when we stayed there.
It might not be "impossible" but the high season's months and the crowds dictate the prices.
Our experience says that Cefalu was the most expensive beach we've paid for during our 2 weeks Sicily vacation, including Mondello and San Vito that were both from 15-20 (Mondello with a 2€ deposit that you get back at 7pm). Even Isola Bella 2 years ago was 20e, which is reasonable because of it's glory and small size.
Thanks for your explanation of "impossible" ljubimci, and for sure the month and crowds dictate the price.
Cefalù has become a popular beach resort destination, and with establishments offering full services and higher rates.
