Region to stay

Hello!

There's 3 of us (mid twenties) working in pointe a pitre for all of may and june.

We're thinking of staying in saint felix, as we've a contact there. However, although google maps says it's a 16 min drive in (we're probably going to hire a car), I've heard it could be much longer than this in the rush hour?

Is saint felix a good location that is reasonably lovely? We're thinking maybe somewhere more central in le gosier could be better as there is more going on and it's closer to pointe a pitre?

Thanks!

Paul

Le Gosier is definitely a livelier place than St. Felix and a good place to be based if you work in Pointe-a-Pitre, but if you have a car, you can easily drive from St. Felix to Le Gosier in 5-10 mins anyway. :) St. Felix is a nice quiet place with good running trails and a decent beach.

The drive to Pointe-a-Pitre won't be much longer from St. Felix than from Le Gosier. You will need to reserve about 30 mins for the trip either way due to possible traffic jams.
