This area is not known for its sandy beaches, they are mainly coarse-pebble or rocky coves. For proper, golden sandy beaches, Ischia is the place to go. It's a beautiful island off Naples, authentic Italian, with the magnificent Aragonese Castle, gardens, spas, shops and restaurants etc. It's can also be one of the cheapest resorts in the area although there are hotels and restaurants to suit every budget. The video was taken in October.
Apart from the tiny bit of course grit at the side of Marina de Lobra the rest of the coast around Massa Lubrense is virtually all big cobbles, great to go snorkeling in , But incredibly uncomfortable to lie on. Some beaches in Positano and at Minori and the Marina Grande in Sorrento has some 'Grit'. But the whole area is not generally looked on as a 'Beachy place'.
