Springdale B&B

We stayed in a recommended (by Sunset magazine) B&B and found it to be not sarisfactory. Our room was ultra small and the "antiques" were just old junk. No hospitality and breakfast was a chit for a local greasy spoon.

Avoid " Under the Eaves" if you can.

I was surprised to read your comments.

We stayed at Under The Eaves for 2 nights in May this year. We had the "hikers" room, which, though small, was perfectly comfortable. We loved Steve & Deb's photos. We were encouraged to treat the garden and the lounge as if they were our own home and there was a large fridge in the main building for the use of guests.

We found Steve & Deb to be very friendly hosts willing to give advice on dining, places to visit, etc. The room wasn't the cheapest we stayed in on our trip, but Springdale is quite a pricey place; the shops were mostly more upmarket than some of the other places we visited. It was ideally placed for the Zion shuttle buses.

We ate breakfast at Oscar's cafe (where the vouchers were for) and it was great. The staff were friendly and the food was good. We didn't eat there either of the evenings but one of the other guests did and said it was very good. We will definitely book in to Under the Eaves if we ever get a chance to return to Springdale.
