Safe to go early Sept to Yosemite National Park

Due to Ferguson fire, I can't decide should proceed with my plans to Yosemite National Park on 4th of Sept for a night. I still haven't proceeded to my booking of accommodation at Mariposa. I need some advice here before proceeding to payment. Hope to hear from all soon.

Cheers and thanks in advance.

Probably it will be fine.

Go ahead and make reservations. Then keep an eye on current conditions and finalize your plans when you see if another fire has occurred or if anything else is happening.

If you need to cancel due to natural disaster (fire), the lodging vendor will likely offer a refund.

California fire season will continue till at least mid October.

Given how dry it is, other fires will occur.

Its the worst fire season we've had.

We hope rains come early this year....

its the one time I am not confident to say - plan on going.

its just that dry out here....
