Following. I’ve seen 5 miles mentioned for distance.
What is your walking pace? How often do you stop for photos?
A fairly common hiking/walking speed is about 2 miles per hour. So the 4.9 mile loop would take about 2 1/2 hours if you did not stop. But creeping out on your belly to look over the Taft Point Fissures, stopping to photograph Yosemite Falls across the Valley, taking in all the views from the top of Sentinel Dome, and stopping to drink the water you're carrying will each add time.
I like the Taft Point - Pohono Trail - Sentinel Dome direction. The starting point is the Taft Point / Sentinel Dome trailhead where there is an outhouse and just a little parking. Arrive early.
