Hotel with spa in Santa Fe

My husband and I are going to spend an overnight in Santa Fe next weekend. I know most of the hotels have spas now, but I would like one where we have access to hot tubs and steam rooms without having a spa service. 10,000 Waves is all booked. Was looking at Encantado or Bishop's Lodge. Any ideas? A great restaurant on sight will be a plus.

Too bad about 10,000.

Bishops Lodge does, but the hot tub may be outdoors, on the other side of the garden near the spa. You might also consider La Posada, but I think their tub is also outside. Also, maybe, Encantado (says steam room and soaking pool, whatever that is)

Don't know about steam rooms. I assume you have already called Eldorado and Bishop's Lodge.

If you want to be really funky, go up to Ojo Caliente which for sure has rooms and hot tubs! but almost an hour away)

If fact, if you want to travel, the Hyatt Tamaya, between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, is a great idea.

There also used to be Sunrise Springs, in a really nice setting 15 min. south of SF in La Cienega, but I don't know if they are still open. Its usually very quiet there. The hubs are separate from the spa, so no worries.

Also look at Eldorado Hotel they have a rooftop pool and hot tub and near the Plaza, not outside of town like BIshop's Lodge and Encantado. With a short trip, that may be nice to not have to drive.

Skip Sunrise Springs...last few times I've driven by, no one was there. It is such a beautiful place though.
