"Foodie"

HI! Am traveling to SAT next week w/Foodie son (adult) and would like to have suggestions of where to go gor dinner than would make him smile! Also, tried to fit in "truck food" for an experience, but w/no car, both BOB & Revolution seemed too laborious to get to. Any other food trucks in town? Thanks for your help!

OH! I got it now! I knew there was something about Central Market but couldn't quite figure it out. Web site is so busy--looked like a cool store. Now I see all of the unique offerings in their Cafe! Worked out the bus, also. Thanks already for 1st suggestion! I'll explore others too!

I totally agree with the above post in places to try definitely Bohanan's & Biga on the Banks are some excellent choices.

I would also add Boudro's www.boudros.com especially the guacamole prepared tableside with a yummy Prickly Pear Margarita also the Ribeye chicken fried is so gooood, It's on the lunch menu.

Zocca www.zoccariverwalk.com @ the Westin has some excellent food as well.

Las Canarias @ La Mansion Del Rio www.omnilamansion.com another excellent choice. click on dining

Ostra for some excellent & unique seafood so goood @ Mokara Hotel www.mokarahotels.com/sanantonio/dining.html

Thanks so much for your input! We had an interesting time at HEB CM & food was great! We LOVED out tour of historic bars and hit many of them! (Bohanan's, Menger, Esquire, etc.) Best of all, though, was when we threw on cutoffs/tshirts and headed to Alamo Eats Food Trucks! Live music, incredible food, friendly folks, and unbelieveable collection of people with personalities! We had so much fun!! Couldn't have done it without y'alls help!
