eda hotel review

Just got back from Eda hotel so heres my review short but sweet just like the hotel. We arrived early hours morning to be met by Seda who showed us to our room wth a smile and told us of b/fast times, safe prices and aircon, the room was adequate with a double bed and a single, very clean with good storage.

we found that a lot of the customers were regulars and made us feel realy welcome on our first night and continued all through our holiday, the breakfast was the general egg, cheese, tomatoes (beautiful), bread , toast but you could have the english at a cost, which we did on a couple of occasions and was sound as.

All in all a good start to holiday , the pool was smallish but ok for our needs and plenty of sunbeds to go around , good background music , very relaxing, superb service for drinks and the food was ok round the pool too.

It has a lovely welcoming entrance at night when lit up and we always had our first beer of the night there, which we always do wherever we stay,Dohan is a good host at night and the setting is beautiful and comfortable.

All in all the hotel does exactly what it says, a 2/3 star place with 5 star service a lovely couple who run it with mammy who is a darling at breakfast and all day smiling.Rooms are cleaned reuglar and the shower is fantastic a great place to stay.

Thanks for posting that and glad to hear you enjoyed your holiday. We stayed at the Eda a few years now, but it was under different management then. It's a lovely little hotel in a great location and I'd heard that the new proprietors had done quite a bit of work to it.
