Trip to Rhodes from Icmeler

Can I ask please if anyone has done a ferry trip over to Rhodes, went there one day and returned the next? Does the ferry go into Rhodes Old Town and has anyone any experience of good accommodation for just one night?

Just thought as we are in Icmeler for two weeks it might be a good trip to do.

Try contacting Icmeler Online - they do the day trip to Rhodes, but I'm sure they'd be able to sort everything out for you if you wanted to do it as an overnight stay as well.

All the ferries stop near the Old Town. We have been over from Fethiye and stayed at the Nikos & Takis Hotel

Right in the Old Town. It was fabulous. A boutique hotel. The owners are Greek Fashion Designers who designed for Joan Collins, Jacqui Kennedy, Ursula Andres etc., We were lucky enough to meet one of them and he was a charming man. I would thoughly recommend this Hotel. Like a little Oasis in the hustle and bustle of the old town.

Family run hotel, stayed there 2 yrs ago Excellent hotel, very reasonable.
