Yes smc very quiet not many people about Wembley is busy just know about 4 empty tables but most places pretty quiet the da ja vu was empty and hotel next door had only 3 guests

Hi All,

I think its a case of people who have previously visited Turkey and experienced the hospitality that the various hotels, restaurants, bars & excursions etc offer, will ignore the negative press and keep on visiting, because they know the true Turkey.

However everyone who has never visited Turkey will without doubt look elsewhere whilst the scare mongering from the media etc is about, obviously what went on with the explosion in Istanbul last week certainly has not helped things.

Me and my family however have been travelling to Turkey since 1998 and will continue to visit the beautiful, friendly country that we have grown to know as our second home.

Fingers crossed that this is a short term issue, rather than long term otherwise the businesses that have taken years to build up will cease to exist.
