Rhodes trip is a great day out well worth the money they will offer a guided tour whilst on board but do it yourselves from the port you walk to the first gateway into old medieval town the town is full of history loads of shops resturants don't get caught with asking for large beer like we did they bring you a boot holding about three pints lol it's expensive too there is also a little train that takes you on a small journey outside old town if you go to mandrake harbour there is a boat called the orcca that takes you on a great trip

I personally would say Aqua Dream is the better water park.

Never done the Rhodes trip though we are doing it this July. So will be interesting to read all replies about that :)

Aqua dream IMO is the better park it has alot more room and superb views some people like Atlantis better because its on the beach and you can go in and out as you please.

Rhodes is a great day trip tiring but worth it price £35 each including port tax.

Ive only been to Aquadream on the hill, its very spacious and lots of sunbeds, and some with shade, they have a wave pool which they turn on at intervals, a big kiddies pool with slides, our 7 year old grandaughter was able to go on the big slides as well with an adult. they do check your bags as you go in because your not allowed to take your own food and drinks, but there cafe is good and reasonably priced and drinks are not over the top prices. book with a travel agent and you will get picked up and dropped off to where you are staying. when you want to come out there are mini buses leaving at regular intervals and you just get on one and tell them where you want to be dropped off.

Yep, £35 is around the going rate for the Rhodes trip - one tip if you do decide to go though, don't automatically head for the nearest cafes/bars etc when you arrive. Instead, walk a bit further back and you will get much better food and drink at much better value too.

Talk of the Rhodes trip has got me thinking I may at last do this trip in September, We visited here 45 years ago on our honeymoon on a cruise, I bought the most beautiful leather bag from here in the walled part, it was lovely watching people make their goods, I often wonder if its still like that. yes dont buy drinks and food at the first place you see, so many people do this and say how so expensive they are. A lot of people think that buying duty free here they are allowed to buy more to bring back to the UK because Greece in in the EU, this is not the case !! you have to take it back into Turkey which the allowance is 1 litre per person and its still brought in from Turkey into the Uk.
