The last stop on the dolmus is just beside the Deniz Kapisi, which is right at the harbour end of the beach just before the place where the dolmus turns round. You can also get off just beside the Munamar Hotel just before that, and then you're right on the promenade

Ask the driver if he can drop you in the square; beach is a 100m walk from here. If he doesn't go in the square get out at the main crossroads (Romance Palace on the corner) from here its probably 200m to the beach.

I believe your hotel is in the old village. It's about a 20 -25 minute walk. There's only on main road that runs through the village. It would be a good idea to walk so you get to find places. Walk down towards the town and you'll get to a bridge. From here you can keep walking towards town of you can turn left and walk to Wembley restaurant. From here there's several good restaurants including Wembley up the road running left of take the right and this road takes you to the main crossroads. A lot of nice eateries down here. I suggest you try Hanandan (300m on the left) for authentic Turkish cuisine. Have a good time !!

You see a whole different side to Icmeler staying in the old village. Just get out and about for a wander round all the little side streets and alleyways - you will see the locals tending their crops and animals. It's lovely...quieter and more peaceful than the hustle and bustle of the centre of the resort.

Love the old village. It's so peaceful. So many places to eat in the village now without going to the centre. Our first meal on Wednesday will be at caddie pide
