Yes indeed you can - it's a lovely walk, although maybe best not done in the middle of the day in high season! Depending on how fast you walk and how far you walk into Marmaris, it takes about an hour/hour-and-a-half. There are a few cafes/bars along the way as you're leaving Icmeler - then not much until you approach Marmaris, when you're spoiled for choice. We normally walk into Marmaris right along to the harbour/marina area, stop and have a bite to eat as there are some nice cafes and restaurants in that area, then get the water taxi back to Icmeler.

The walk is also on the flat mainly so it is fairly easy. There are lovely views along the way and even an ice rink !!!!!!. There are some lovely hotels at the start of Marmaris. We normally stop at a cafe once we get into Marmaris then continue to walk all the way to the harbour, which takes around another hour. The harbour and castle are worth a visit. make a full day of it by going to the bazaar then get water taxi back

We normally get the Dolmus to Marmaris and walk back to Icmeler as the view of the bay as you come round the last bend into Icmeler is amazing.

There are a few bars/cafes here where you can sit and enjoy the view of the whole of Icmeler.

We have done the walk from Amulantan ,but dont think I could walk that far now especially in the heat!
