Coop travel online - no rep

Ive seen holiday to Iclemer with coop travel but when called you don't get a rep just an emergency number. Any advise? Anyone booked with coop before? Thanks

Went with them a few years ago and you get a leaflet when you arrive at hotel with a local travel company that acts as a rep, but worst than useless when needed, they were only interested if you wanted to book trips with them!

As Coop travel are now part of Thomas Cook ,have a look on their website to see if the holiday is available with them.

At least you will have a rep with them.

I do DIY,have done for a few years now,and havnt needed a rep,if we need a dentist or doctor the owners of the apartments we stay in sort this out for us,also the accomodation voucher gives us a 24hr contact telephone No if we encounter any problems.

ethansnan: DIY all the way for us as well. If you need help, the last place I would look for it from is a rep. I'd ask a local first, much more accomodating and knowledgeable.

Same here. We have booked DIY for years now so have not had a rep. You don't need one. You have an emergency number for the tour operator and if you need a doctor or anything else someone at your hotel will have a number for you and will probably phone for you if you ask them.

Don't worry about the lack of a rep with regards trips as the ones they sell are always overpriced anyway, just go to one of the local travel agencies and you can book all your trips and get local information too.
