I would definately recommend self catering. That way you can try some of the restaurants serving delicious food. Like everyone you will end up having a favourite that you will return to.

Regarding accomodation it depends if you prefer to be down on the beachfront or you might like to stay in the Old Village which is becoming more popular.

There are so many lovely restaurants at reasonable prices, I would always go SC. We have never had a bad meal out. We stayed at the Alvaro Apartments last August and loved the location, right inbetween the beach area and the old village.

We always go self catering as it is so reasonable to eat out and we like to try different restaurants. We also book a 1 bedroom apartment as we like the extra space this gives you.

The Old Village is popular because it is nice and peaceful with a mixture of holiday apartments and private houses. The centre is only a 10 minute walk away with.

We always go self catering to Icmeler. There are so many restaurants and the food is excellent. We normally stay in the centre, but this year we are trying the Old Village.
