Looking for an upscale hotel in North Atlanta. Any suggestions? Looking at Le Meridien or Westin Perimeter. Which would you pick?
What is either a "debacle"?
Do you know what "debacle" means? You sure didn't reference any such thing.
"Debate" auto correct?
Anyway, I would look at the reviews of both hotels (on TripAdvisor and cross reference other review sites) and choose from there.
The Westin is adjacent to the I-285/GA 400 interchange so if the windows facing the highways aren't soundproof, you might have road noise or even noise from the nearby hospitals. I would check reviews and see what they say.
The Meridian is near all the shopping malls and centers- traffic is pretty heavy during rush hour and at lunch.
All I can figure is that the OP is misusing the word debacle. But since we recently had someone describe her attempt to choose a midtown hotel as a "nightmare" nothing surprises me.
Yes was a typo. I can't believe crown plaza would be deemed mosr luxurious ?
It started out as a Hyatt ,very luxurious.lots of plants, outside patio for large weddings, great bar.OP was looking for luxury in Sandy springs
Per Isabill, the Westin has the better reviews.
The Crowne Plaza Ravania is where one of the La Grottas was located. Just checked and it's closed. Although the Peachtree location was my favorite -
If you want luxury, go with the Mandarin -
No, no, no Crowne Plaza is not the nicest hotel. Not at all. Recently purchased and will be renovated --10s of millions of dollars. Recently guests had no water
Westin or Le Meridian are your best bets.
