Walking Tour

Hi,

I will spend 3 weeks in Alpharetta for business alone.

Does anyone know if there is any free walking tour that I can join?

I have 3 weekends in December and would like some recommendations on places to go besides the aquarium and Coca Cola world.

I like the nature and something with history.

Thanks

NL

The Atlanta Preservation Center does neighborhood walking tours. Check their website for schedules. They are not free, however.

They are excellent. Small cost but not free.

The Peachtree Food Tour is a lot of fun, but not free.

If you have s car,the area north of dahlonega has some great walking trails thru the various parks.and dahlonega is a former gold mining town, actually was a mint in 1850s,so interesting to tour.
