I did the Domes and Dripstones tour at Mammoth and did Diamond Caverns.

I preferred Diamond Caverns - it is much more of a show cave, IMO.

I think that anything in Mammoth will be much more interesting than Diamond cavers, with the exception of the Frozen Niagara tour. Most of the tours are significantly longer, and there's far more history involved. Diamond Caverns probably gets the edge for its formations, though Cleveland Avenue is well decorated with a different type of formation. You might see better colors at Diamond, but Frozen the Niagara tour is going to be fairly similar. Those colors are going to mostly be different shades of brown and tan, with a bit of white, and some tans that are a bit orange.

Near by Cub Run Cave in Cub Run, KY puts both to shame on formations and cave animals!
