Hello To The Great Northwest-Need Your Help

My wife and I are arriving post cruise from Vancouver via Quick Shuttle at the Best Western on Taylor. We are booked at the Mayflower Park Hotel. ( after reading reviews here) Thought it was faster than going to SeaTac and then shuttle back to town. Is the monorail the best option to use or take a taxi to our hotel?

We were in Seattle 2 years ago for two nights pre-cruise and 1 post cruise To say we enjoyed ourselves in Seattle was an understatement. In fact the cruise we are on stops in Seattle from 10am-10pm. We wanted to get back post cruise this year and spend the night before flying home the following morning. I think we are going to try at some point to do lunch at Daliah Lounge and Crab Pot for dinner. In addition to Pike Place Market we did Alki Beach and a Mariners game two years ago plus the Space Needle and the Music Eexperience. Lucked out on the weather it was sunny and 73 degrees. Mt, Rainier was a picture post card. Sorry to ramble but we really had a good time and can't wait to get back.

Two more quick questions. Our flight leaves at 11 a.m. on a Sunday. We need a good breakfast that morning. Lastly, Best option getting to the airport. Cab, car service or the rail system and what time to leave the hotel to get there.

Thanks for reading and thanks for your help in advance.

Howdy, you could take the monorail to get to Mayflower Park but honestly a city bus stopping on 5th ave would be just as easy for a pretty short ride. In the morning a cab would be a flat $32 or towncar for $35 or light rail is one block from you for $2.75. Since you have time you can be pretty flexible.

Since you enjoy the area its too bad you don't take the train back from Vancouver. Much more scenic than the bus. Quick shuttle while logistically easy makes more stops than if you took the Amtrak bus but you'd still have to get to the station in Vanc and you would need a cab from Seattle so all in all a push unless the train would work for you.
