Walk across Canal on N Peters and go W on S Peters 4/5 blocks to the corner of Lafayette and S Peters to Ernst Cafe which is over 100 years old for good happy hour and crawfish. They have outdoor tables and cold beer. Then go W a block to Girod and go N 2 blocks to Lucy's Bar on Tchoupitoulas for a good 4 to 7 happy hour and $2.50 beer.

Thanks Axle, will certainly try out those happy hours . Looking forward to going back to the Bulldog on Magazine street, so many beers and so little time food wasn't bad either.

When you go to The Bulldog, walk across the street and get some crawfish from Big Fisherman. You will have to take them to the park somewhere and eat on a bench. Good luck.
