Girls Trip - Help Us Find the Right Hotel

Spending an extended weekend in mid-November with my bestie (both in 50's) - first time visiting NO. We'd like a nice, 4-star or better rated hotel - a pool and a spa would be great. We are considering Hotel Monteleone, NOPSI or Windsor Court, but are definitely open to recommendations in that price range. Plan to visit FQ, Garden District, a tour or two - enjoy the night life, so preference is to be in or near FQ. Something with a NO flair would be great, but we're flexible. Would really appreciate feedback from anyone who is familiar with the places mentioned - or if you have other recommendation. Thank you!

Windsor Court gets my vote! Lovely hotel and the people are so nice and the food is delicious. Easy to get to the French Quarter. Have fun!

Monteleone would be my choice. Essentially in the Quarter. Close to numerous fine dining spots, historical museums and good music. Rooftop pool. Not sure if it is heated and mid November may be too cool for outside swimming. Criollo Restaurant and the adjacent Carousel revolving bar are very good. Right across the street from Mr B's Bistro, a favorite of mine. One block to Canal St and the historic streetcar lines.

I would choose Hotel Monteleone - you just can't beat having the beautiful Carousel Bar right in your hotel!

Another vote for Windsor Court.

It is in CBD, but a few short blocks from the French Quarter.

It has nice dining on-property, plus proximity to so much more.

Lovely Afternoon Tea, in the beautiful lobby.

Not sure if they have been published, but I submitted photos for all, as well as my reviews.

Staying there again this Dec, for maybe the 11th stay at Windsor Court.

Enjoy!

Though Hotel Monteleone is nice, Windsor Court is arguably the nicest hotel in the City. However, most would find the Hotel Monteleone location to be somewhat more convenient, and the building and fixtures to be more “NewOrleanish”. Depends on your preferences and priorities. Assigning a high priority to location convenience, I would consider Omni Royal Orleans.

Wow, great feedback - thank you all who have responded. Looks like I'm narrowed down to 2. Welcome any additional feedback on great food, best of nightlife. Looking forward to the visit.

Thanks so much everyone! Looks like we're going with the Montelone, as they have a 'Girlfriend' Package that sealed the deal. I'll scan the boards, now we're looking for ideas on the 'must do' activities and maybe a couple nice bars and restaurants where we can get some awesome NO style cooking and music.
