Maybe it's just me but can you clarify what a "clean" bachelor party is? Does this mean no adult entertainment? No drinking? Something you can do with kids? What are the age ranges of your guests? Budget?

If I wanted to have a bachelor party in Madison, I would plan on having a downtown hotel lined up. Uber/cab is around in Madison but having a downtown hotel is best. Start the day with brunch on the Capitol Square (Old Fashioned... or just grab a quick bite/coffee anywhere) or walk around the farmer's market if it's a Saturday. Or if your hotel is on/near campus start at the Vintage or Mickey's Dairy Bar. Walk down State Street to Memorial Union. Drink beer/relax/plan for what you want to accomplish that day while you enjoy the view from the Terrace. Walk back up State Street towards the Capitol and stop in 1 or 11 bars on the way up depending on how you're doing and what places interest you. Head back to the hotel and get checked-in/ready for dinner. For steaks/expensive, hit up Delmonico's or Tornado. For less expensive/American, go for The Great Dane, maybe Tipsy Cow or Madison's or even The Nitty Gritty or AJ Bombers. Or get a boot of beer at the Essen House and eat there. After dinner, either roam the Capitol Square for the right bar/pub or go back to your favorite places on State Street. End the night with a slice of pizza from Ian's. Wake up the next day, dust yourself off, and have breakfast/brunch with your remaining funds.

That's what I would do... but you might be thinking something completely different. Alternatively, you could catch a Mallards game and sit in the Duck Blind. Or do some golfing or maybe paintball. Rent kayaks at the Union or go bowling. Do a brewery tour at Ale Asylum or Capital Brewery. Think about what the groom likes to do and go do it.

Whatever you do, Madison is a great place to get together with your friends to celebrate. Have a great time.

If you want a bachelor party no one will ever forget, check out the Sugar River Raceway in Brodhead. It's about an hour away from Dodgeville.

This is a approximately 1/2 mile road race style go kart track with very fast gas powered karts. With eight participants they'll set up a private four heat (ten laps each) race for your group. This is not your typical amusement park track nor go karts. I guarantee the guys will get FAR more fired up at this place than at ANY strip club. www.sugarriverraceway.com

If you are wanting to be in Madison, there always seem to be a ton of bachelor or bachelorette parties at the Madison Mallards Duck Blind as suggested above.

Also, consider a pedal pub tour:

Wisconsin Brewing in Verona has a large outside play area where you can play any outdoor game that you enjoy and then sit around by the pond and try their wonderful beers.

Grumpy Troll in Mount Horeb also has great beers in a beautfiul location downtown. There are lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby for the women to enjoy while you are partying, too.

For video gaming, your best bet is Madison, and there is a great place on the west side you may want to check out: http://www.geeksmania.com/

Or you could play Laser Tag, if that appeals: www.yelp.com/biz/ultrazone-laser-tag-madison

Otherwise, paintball is always fun with a group, This one is very cool: https://www.facebook.com/VERONAPAINTBALL/

Let us know if you need more information once you read through all of this. We will be happy to help!
