Lake Powell Boat Tours

Are there more that one tour company that does the boat tours and do you recommend the antelope canyon tour or the canyons tour?

Is the canyons tour worth the extra $ and time>

The boat tours are run thru a park service concessionaire.

The canyons tour offers you more time on the lake.If you have the time and money, sure its worth it.

If you have a lot of time look into the trip to Rainbow Bridge.

You have the raft option too below the dam.

And you should check out the land part of Antelope Canyon, either upper or lower.

Also look into Antelope Point outfitters.

I also recommend doing the canyons tour if you want a boat tour on the lake. It includes Antelope Canyon plus Navajo Canyon a few more miles up lake.

Don't know how much time you have, but IMO the land tour of Antelope Slot Canyon (as dez40 mentions) is a must. Very different than the section that is filled with water.

We only have done the Antelope Canyon tour by boat. It lasted less than 2 hours and was great.
