Should I get the subway or equivalent from JFK to Brooklyn?

Or a Lyft? Does anyone know the approximate cost of this please?

Brooklyn is the fourth largest city in the US on its own. Where in Brooklyn is your hotel?

What is the name of the hotel where you are staying? It would help knowing where you are going.

The subway is very inexpensive and very easy, if you are going to where there is a subway station.

Where are you headed? It's like saying: I'd like to go from Heathrow to London, where do I get off the train?

If where you are headed is not near a subway (possible) you can take a subway to the nearest station and a cab the last couple of miles to save money.

The one on Duffield? Super easy: take the AirTrain from your terminal to Howard Beach (NOT Jamaica), and get on a Manhattan-bound A train. Get off at Jay Street. You'll be two blocks from your hotel. If you need information on how to pay fares or anything like that, let us know, but this is a very easy trip.

Take the Airtrain from JFK to Howard Beach > Transfer to the A train to Jay Street.

Walk to your hotel from there.

(You can also get off at Hoyt Schermerhorn and walk from there. Jay St is a little closer.)
