Parking Around City Market

We will be traveling through Savannah and would like to stop at City Market for lunch, only. Is there any place to park where we can simply pay for one to two hours (an alternative to a day or two-day pass)?

When we make a short visit, we often park at the visitors center. It's $1/hr (cash only). You have to be out by around 6:00 (if I recall correctly). Figure about a 10 minute stroll to City Market, and the visitors center will provide maps and direction. There are also parking garages, but they can be hit and miss for availability, the same for parking meters. Have fun!

Sure. Park in the city garage under Ellis Square that is adjacent to CM. There is metered parking and private parking lots too. It's impossible NOT to find a place to park in Savannah. Just make sure you pay the meter enough if you use metered parking. Garage parking is cheap in Savannah but parking fines are HIGH.

I've never purchased a Visitor Parking Pass. The garage rates are very fair, especially compared to other cities -
