I suggest Puget Sound Express out of Port Townsend.

We have a car and I drive all the time so that's no problem. Do you have someone in mind? Thanks

Are you spending your whole time in Seattle? Puget Sound Express, which Traveler has mentioned goes out of PortTownsend and Edmonds which is just North of Seattle. If you can spend one night outside of Seattle the San Juan Islands are not only the best place to see Orcas, but also a beautiful place to visit.

Thank you. We're actually starting in Tacoma, going to mt ranier again, traveling through the different parts of the state. I'd love to go to Olympic national park and the Cascades but it will depend on where the job needs us to go. I like your idea!

When you are starting in Tacoma, leaving from Port Townsend is probably your best bet.
