Much to do with boys 12 and 14 in march

Just wondering how many days you think we would enjoy with two boys 12 and 13 in March or should we save it for a summertime getaway

It depends on the kinds of things you like to do as a family. March is in the off-season. You are doing in the middle of the week, so that means you will largely have the village to yourself, which can also be fun.

Kids of all ages always enjoy the Hat Shop where you can try on all kinds of crazy hats. Depending on the weather, Blackbird Island has fun trails. They may like the Christmas shop, Kris Kringl's. Lots of good things to eat everywhere in town. You can eat brats outside (sausages, not the kids) on heated patios. Have family photos taken at a couple different studios where you can dress up in Old West or Bavarian or other clothes. Gingerbread House is a good place for treats. The museum in town or the one in Cashmere. There is a nice little independent bookshop. Putt-putt golf. An actual golf putting green. An arcade and activity center at Icicle Village Resort. Walks up the ski hill if there is no snow, or snow shoeing if there is. Skiing at nearby Stevens Pass. (Spas for Mom)

This page will let you know what is going on in town in March. (Again, it's the off-season, so not as much happening.)

For some general family fun throughout the year, these pages may help:

There may still be some snow around, in which case this page may help:

Hope these help.

The Accidental Bavarian had good ideas. As far as snow fun, If there is still snow, and you are here on a weekend, you can go to Ski Hill and innertube.

If it is during the week, the ski hill innertubing park will not be open so a good place to go to sledding or innertubing is Enchantment Park, where there is a nice hill to sled on. A bigger hill than the one downtown and it is free.

But if is rainy and the snow is gone, then it would be best during the summer (you can innertube on the river, for example).

Hopefully you can take them both now and in the Summer.
