Any advice

Hi looking at booking a weekend from 8th October for my husbands 50th. Want a 4star hotel in walking distance to the nightlife in magaluf but also in a quieter area. Also any advice on what bars and restruantts would be helpful. Is there much open like karaoke bars and live music. Thanks

Have a look at the Guadeloupe in magaluf, nearer to the nightlife but grownup hotel.

Intertur Hotel Hawaii would fit your requirements. On the torrenova headland, with wonderful views, 5 minutes walk to Magaluf if that. Much better location than Guadeloupe imo, hope this helps

Agree with the Hawaii and the Sol Beach house Cala Blanca would be good . Wouldn't even bother to go into Magaluf , plenty to do in Palma Nova .

Any of the 4 star hotels in PN would suit. Best price rules I reckon.

We had a look around Son Matias Beach a few days ago while we were over there.

Receptionist got a housekeeper to show us one of the rooms. Very impressed with service at reception and rooms very nicely done out. Free fridge with milk & juice, complimentary tea & coffee etc and all rooms got lovely sea views .

Perfect position right by the beach on Palma Nova seafront, and on the 'border' of Palma Nova/Magaluf so only a few minutes walk into Magaluf for the bars and Magaluf seafront.

Bit torn ourselves now whether to book there next year or return to the nice apartments we stayed in across the road.

Just to add.....Popular Papi's bar is about a minutes walk from Son Matias and had 'Hooch' playing live music each night we were there in June and Sept. (We only popped in for a few drinks a few nights as we liked to go around various bars in Magaluf, but always a good atmosphere in there ).
