Suited to singles or families?

Hi we have never been to Spain Before! Always go to Greece....been recommended alcudia and palmanova, we will be going with our 9 year old daughter so don't want anything rowdy like Magaluf!! Is palmanova more for couples and families or groups of singles? Also is there much going on for children like play areas and trips? Any advice would be appreciated 😀

Palmanova would be completely like your description in the first post, except for the timing.

In recent years there seems to be a growing trend amongst the youngsters to want the Magaluf nightlife, but not the noise that goes with it, so they are now booking up Palmanova hotels to avoid the night time excess noise.

What they don't get is that **THEY** are the noise when they come back at 3 or 4 in the morning talking at the top of their voices etc lol

So, it's only the timing, late July/Early August, that gives a potential issue, other than that, PN has the play areas and trips that you require.

To avoid the potential issue, go for a more expensive hotel, like the Viva Palmanova, or Rosa del Mar. There's others but have a look at those.
