Well we always do (if going S/C) and haven't had any problems.

I think it's only the USA that i've come up against strict no imports on food mentality.

Seems like you've got you're screen name in order now? Weird one that was.

We always take our cool bag with ice packs in our hold luggage. Never had any problems, but they do add extra weight to your case.

I remember many years ago when going SC, that we would take cheese and meats, but with luggage weight restraints etc... Is it really worth it, plus it's the bacteria element at ambient temps..plus you can get pretty much anything food wise abroad these days. But Butter!!!!!!!

I would highly reccomend the English butcher Dunns located in Portals next to Marineland. Its a 5 minute bus journey or a 25 minute walk from Palmanova. It sells great back bacon, sausages and black pudding and many other items at reasonable prices.

Why would anyone take butter to the Canaries when you can buy it there cheaper?
