Porto Cristo is OK for about 24 hours. Then it will quickly become passe'. Be sure to choose restaurants on the basis of the menu and prices, not whether you think the restaurant "looks" nice. You could be in for a big surprise. Some Porto Cristo restaurants - but not all - are famous for charging ridiculous prices for demonstrably sub-average food and service.

Take the bus to Cala Millor and/or Sa Coma every morning. Only 20 minutes and only a few Euros, but 100x the activity and liveliness, you'll spoiled for choice of decent, reasonably priced restaurants and bars, and a lovely massive beach. If you want something a bit more intimate, take the bus south to Cala Anguila or Cala Romantica - only 10-15 minutes.
