Open on Saturday morning. Under Spanish law you are supposed to present recognised photo id eg passport, driving licence etc.Probably easier to withdraw cash from an ATM. Enjoy Mojacar.

One thing the Spaniards do better than the rest of europe is Red Tape. Bring your passport, driving licence, even a utility bill (OK, I joke re utility bill).

Better again, beat the queue, like Mojacarman said use one of the many atm machines (stress free).

Thxs for the replies.Went Sat. Morning. No need for ID and it was quiet.Changed English money no probs got a better rate than at home and no commision. I always use the local atm's but the missus insists on bringing English money.
