We're getting snow here in Milton and the notch road is closed.
"The lows predicted will be flirting with record lows, recorded as 24 degrees for the first two nights of the cold snap, in 1947 and 1934 respectively, and 27 degrees for the third night, recorded in 1978.
The weather also prompted state highway crews on Friday to close Vermont 108 through Smugglers Notch, the high pass between Jeffersonville and Stowe. Friday's weather made the road impassable, highway officials said. The route had reopened unseasonably early, April 16. Highway workers said the road likely will remain closed into next week."
