The Benalmádena webcam is on the top of the Club Nautico...so you get the view of the best beach on Benal Costa but have to understand that as the cam is effectively out at sea the temp readings are going to be dodgy...

....no change there then! :-)

Dizzy007:-

The hotel you asked about with the neon sign on it is the Hotel Triton. The smaller building to the left of it painted the same colour is also part of the Triton. The gap in between them is taken up by gardens, swimming pools and a car park.

The white-painted building at the left-hand edge of the picture is the Hotel Riviera. The Villa Sol is just off the left-hand edge and the Hotel Alay just off the right-hand edge.

Hello, AquilaMike

We are spending about 9 nites in Torremolinos in a couple of weeks.

We have a tentative itinerary, but would like your expert advice on this trip, and these places we intend to see.

On our itinerary so far are the following:

Thursday market in Torremolinos, getting over jet lag.

Bus to Gibraltor early on a weekday, return early evening.

Rent a power boat in Benalmadina harbor for 1/2 or full day

Cable car in Mija

Ronda & Granada by train for a day

Malaga

One day float time

Depart

Please look over, let me know any suggestions, this our first trip to Spain.

Thanks much

Whereabouts in Torremolinos are you staying? There are a lot of local travel agents that organise day-trips to Gibraltar, Granada etc., Ronda can be done on your own by local bus or on an organised day-trip.

The itinerary seems reasonable, although personally I would exchange Gib. for Cordoba!

The cable car is in Arroyo/Benalmadena not Mijas. Again easily accessed by train from Torre and very close to the train station in Arroyo.
