Opry Show Friday or Saturday night?

Headed to Nasvhille in October and want to see a show at the GOOH either Friday or Saturday night. Since they have not yet announced performers - does anyone have a recommendation? It's a touch easier to get Friday night tickets right now, but Saturday tickets for the later performance are still widely available. Does one night over another tend to bring in more well known performers?

No real difference between Friday and Saturday. Tuesdays SOMETIMES has a current top-level star, but not always and some Fridays and Saturdays do. This Friday & Saturday (Aug 10 & 11), Carrie Underwood is performing on two shows each night.

There are two shows on Saturday during October because that is a pretty good tourism month with many schools on fall break and also it is "Opry Birthday Month". The actual birthday celebration weekend will be Oct. 12 & 13, so if that is the weekend you're here, there will be a lot of activities on the Opry Plaza all day Saturday.

If you're up to do the later show Saturday, I'd go for it because, as you say, there are better seats available. Calling the Ticket Office at 1-800-SEE-OPRY will yield some seats that are not available on the website.
