We are visiting Nashville for the first time in September (from Chicago). I have to be strictly gluten free (celiac disease). I've done a lot of surfing on tripadvisor and opentable and found some good ideas. Etch, Drafon's, Marche, bartaco, Kayne Prime. for example. I see so many recs on that say 'gluten free friendly', then when I go to the website of the restaurant, I see a statement that says 'no substitutions' or no mention of GF options. Any first hand advice from gluten free diners would be very helpful. We are looking for unique / local / fine dinning/ close to downtown, but we will have a car, so a drive might be OK for good food.
Any recommendations are appreciated!
