Oceanfront for under $100/night?

Are there any CLEAN hotels in Myrtle Beach that are oceanfront for around $100 per night? I'm not looking for an Oceanfront property that has rooms overlooking the street for that price, I'm talking balcony overlooking the beach. While I would prefer South Ocean BLVD, North Ocean would do.

The locals on here might know some mom and pop hotels to stay at that are that cheap but I paid $205 with tax a nite at Dunes Village for a 1 bedroom suite oceanfront room and I booked it back in Jan to get a discount. Good luck in your search.

What season? During the three summer months you'd be lucky to find something in Conway for $100. Fall, winter and spring the rates drop down into that range.

Might consider a condo. A condo in a small building without a lot of frills could be less expensive in the long run. Most if not all condos have full kitchens. Save a few bucks on couple of meals.

Check out HOTWIRE too... it tells you if the room is oceanfront or not. It just won't tell you the name til you pay.

When you find one, let us all know. I could not imagine staying OF for $100 unless you are talking Nov or Jan, then maybe. How picky are you? People on here have stayed in $175/night rooms that have been less then desirable, not clean. I hate to recommend anything on South OB, unless its almost to 17.

We've stayed in nice places for about $100 per night in September. Ocean Reef & Caribbean are both nice. They often have mailers that offer 20% off for 5 - 7 day stays during "off-season".

Summer would be almost impossible to find $100 for a good, clean o/f place.

$99 a night, oceanfront efficiency in July. Family owned, small motel, just a pool, but I found it clean and enjoyable.
