FB during Christmas

How quiet (or busy) is FB during Christmas Holiday? We are thinking of spending 10 days there from Dec. 21st but only if it's reasonably quiet. The idea is to have a low key, quiet days with an opportunity to walk a dog and cycle. We're really not looking for anything more than that. Would you recommend FB for what we're looking for? We visited Charleston in the past and liked it so thought maybe a long drive to FB from Ontario, Canada for those days would be worth it.

Thank you!

Yes, you have picked a good time to visit Folly. There will be some visiting families, but the bulk of activity will be at the locals' pace. There is a Polar Plunge on New Year's Day and a Flip Flop drop on New Year's eve. Both events draw a good crowd. But other than that the beach will be yours (and there is no snow).

From Folly Beach, you can easily visit the James Island County Park's "Holiday Festival of Lights". It's not exactly "quiet", as there will be many nocturnal visitors; however, it is a lovely, old-fashion holiday display that delights the child in each of us. Be sure to get out of your car to walk through the magic forest! https:/…Holiday-Festival-of-Lights
