White Water Rafting or jet boat rides near Florence?

We will be in Florence for 2 nights in July and was wondering if there are any tours that offer White Water Rafting or jet boat rides within one to two hours drive from Florence?

There are jet boats out of Gold Beach, but it is a little over a two and a half hour drive. We like to use Jerry's Rogue Jets. :)

The McKenzie River has summer rafting, but it's pretty tame...just one class three rapids. But it's lots of fun. It would be about a 2 1/2 hour drive, maybe more depending on launch point.

There are jet boats and whitewater rafting on the Rogue River, and whitewater rafting on the Umpqua River. The Siuslaw River in Florence has neither. However, Florence is home to Sand Master Park, the world's first sandboarding park (think snowboarding, but warmer). Also, for a great adventure, try a sand rail ride. Sandland Adventures is my personal favorite, but Sand Dunes Frontier is good too. Professionally/expertly-driven seven-passenger dune buggies take on 300-foot dunes, explore nature, point out wildlife, pause occasionally to let you catch your breath and give a bit of an eco-tour perspective, and then take you out on the beach before returning to the tall dunes. The sand flats between the dunes and beach let you get up to about 50 mph. Do the one-hour tour. Stay at either The Old Town Inn (better prices) or River House Inn (get the river view rooms). Both are top-rated on TripAdvisor and super clean with a super helpful staff. Florence also has one of the best Old Town areas, an antique district, awesome food, and two great golf courses. And, in the interest of full disclosure, the Florence Area Chamber of Commerce and these two inns are clients of mine. :-) Be sure to contact them for more information.

I appreciate all your suggestions! Thank you!

Scott S: having AC in the room was the deal breaker! We will be staying at the Three Rivers Casino.
