Recommended Lodging for Parent and Child this July?

I am looking for lodging this summer for the Florence area for about 4 days.

We are looking for something like this:

- A/C

- 1 or more bedrooms (not a studio layout - so the kid can sleep in the bedroom when dad is up early)

- Quiet

- Kitchenette

Would folks here have any recommendations?

Thanks.

Mac

For cost, I need to stay below $200 a night.

Thanks.

Had family reunion at Driftwood Shores, sister rented condo "room"

it was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Check out the "cabins" at the Park Motel just South of Florence. They are actually small two bedroom mobile homes with kitchen and living room. Very nice.

If you can consider staying a little north, in Yachats, you might find what you want at the Yachats Inn.

It's been an economical alternative for families for many years and offers the kind of lodging you have described. It also offers easy access to everything from Newport to Florence, including Cape Perpetua just a couple of miles away.

I forgot to add:

I am looking for something that has a - separate - bedroom, so the kid can still sleep as needed in the morning after dad gets up.

Yes, thanks. I found those.

They have no AC, but the owners insist that they are in a cool spot.

I will look into them.

It never gets hot on the coast. The only air conditioned buildings are the supermarkets
